Boutique Hotel Corfu Mare
The Boutique Hotel Corfu Mare is a welcoming and warm hotel located in Kefalomantouko, a green suburb of Corfu town,
offering unique serenity, 1.5km from the town centre, 500m from the port and 2km from Corfu Airport.
At the same time it only a 5 minute walk from the epicenter of the nightlife Corfu has to offer.
Each of the 42 hotel rooms offers high quality lodging with all the amenities such as, hair-dryer, refrigerator,
satellite TV, wireless and wired internet access, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, safe deposit boxes and
particularly comfortable mattresses from Coco Mat. Every room has a balcony with a sea or gardens view.

Staff Comment - Energy saving light bulbs throughout the hotel, all rooms have key-cards operated power switches to block energy usage when rooms are vacant, air-conditioning in the rooms does not function if the balcony doors are open, there are also ceiling funs installed for guests who do not whish the usage of an air-condition, external areas corridors and public toilets are sensor and timer operated, solar panels have been installed to warm pool water.

Staff Comment - only environmental cleaning products are used, management policy by agreeing to use the linen a second day, rain collecting water which through desalination is used to water the plants and for the whole hotel, installation of movement sensors at the public toilet’s faucets to avoid the usage of the water in wasteful manner, re-usage of the printed papers for internal documents.

Staff Comment - Usage of central recycling waste bins at the parking area, usage of on-the-wall dispensers in the rooms (one for the sink, one for the shower) in order to minimize unnecessary amenities and limitation of wastes, organic materials are used in the garden for the plants, thick paper towels at the public bathrooms to avoid excess usage of paper, training of personnel in environmentally friendly initiatives.

Staff Comment - Guests are encouraged to help our green policies by agreeing to change their towels and linen every 2 days, recycling their waste at the hotel’s central waste bins, old serving pieces go as donation to immigrants. encouraging staff to create a green attitude on their houses too,

Staff Comment - local plants and have been used as a “green fence” to border the hotel from the rest of the neighbourhood, local stones have been used at the entrance, and wood to last longer and to protect from slippery accidents around the pool as well as better maintained of the area.
