The house has the typical Salta colonial architecture: a XIX century’s old manor, wide verandahs that open onto internal flower gardens and horizons of mountains and a lake.

The family has rescued traditions and unique objects, thus being able to create the first Tobacco Museum of Argentina and an Archaeological Museum of particular importance, in addition to typical production activities such as a goat cheese farm, pepper and tobacco crops and a small but attractive collection of aromatic herbs and native trees.

All this effort has made of Santa Anita a place like no other; they have won awards by Slow Food International for their delicious food made with the produce from their organic orchard, the celebrated goat cheeses and biodiversity conservation.

Doing things at a slow pace, following the local culture and nature’s rhythm: making every guest a friend, creating a bond that goes beyond the commercial relationship. They strive to produce magical moments, and MAGIC is the most used word by their visitors in the guests book, when describing their experience at Santa Anita.

From the very beginning Santa Anita has had a responsible management of its produce, having an organic fruit and vegetable orchard as well as commercial production of goat cheese, tobacco and peppers.
