Jade tulum
Jade is a boutique eco-concience hotel conceived with the idea of being surrounded by nature and art and built in the local traditional style,
in the treetops. This has many benefits; the rooms blend into the environment, they benefit from cool sea breezes and guests have the unique experience
of seeing sunrises and sunsets over the jungle and sea from the outside terrace.
The construction used native materials and exotic woods with all the rooms connected by wooden bridges. The overall effect is relaxing, peaceful
surroundings in harmony with the sea and the jungle where guests can enjoy the constant song of the birds.
The central area is a big palapa specially designed for resting, yoga sessions, workshops, retreats and art. The great illumination is ideal for photo
shooting too. Jade has 7 rooms , all just 2.5 mts from the white sand and with a great view of the tourqouise Caribbean sea and the jungle.

Staff Comment - We produce all our own energy with a wind generator. We also give our guests an enviromental chat and video.

Staff Comment - We are very careful of our use of water, we do not have a well in order to avoid taking the water from the plants in our area, we have a water treatment plant and and a biodigestor for it. All the laundry is washed every three days, and we use biodegradable soaps and detergent. We are in the process of including a rain collection system

Staff Comment - We have a composting technique for all the organic waste, as well as separation of garbage. Unfortunately the government in Tulum, doesn’t have a recycling program and all the separate garbage goes again to the common waste of the city, at least not including our organics.

Staff Comment - we are very aware of eco-damage and teach our staff, guests, neighbours and even the citizens in general about the ecological situation of the planet and specifically about our fragile underground aquifer

Staff Comment - As I wrote in the last rating we take care of awareness not only our staff and guests even in the web and paces around us to take care and try to mitigate the most we can all the human print we are making in the nature.
We hire just local people, buy in the places near us and try to help protecting the turtles , the crabs, the mangroes, and specially our fragile aquifer.
We also are interested in letting know our local communities in the richness of their culture and to protect and preserve it .
